East Midlands Wood recycling CIC is a not-for-profit organisation on a mission to divert wood from the local waste stream through our wood recycling service, while creating employment, training and volunteering opportunities to people in the community.
The timber we collect is used to create beautiful furniture and woodwork pieces for homes, gardens and businesses, or sold on for DIY material.
We operate a paid collection service for waste wood, plywood, chipboard, construction wood, broken down sheds, fencing, decking, pallets and crates. If it’s made of wood, we can probably take it away for a fee. We collect from both domestic and commercial premises.
We just need to be able to park next to the wood and our lovely drivers load your waste wood onto our 15 yd³ vans.
We know how to stack a van so that we get as much as possible on up to their weight limit of 1 tonne. Our loose wood collections are significantly less costly than a skip, usually saving 40% or more. Please call us on 01332 360000 for a quote.
The work is sociable and empowering with lots of varied ways to get involved. From helping with wood collections, creating products in the workshop or even serving customers in our shop, we have a range of activities to match your skill-set.
We offer a wide range of reclaimed timber in a variety of sizes including sheets and lengths of timber at very affordable prices.
